Elementary
K-12 STEM education is an important part of grooming the next generation of engineers, scientists and physicists. SPI has plenty of opportunities for class trips and classroom lectures to being elementary students into the world of technology. SPI is currently working on 'train the Trainer" camps that will offer curriculum opportunities to teachers. Along with these camps, we will offer Inquiry-based learning modules that teachers can download for low cost. These modulaes willc ontain, materials, lesson plans and other documents to help bring advanced experiments and activities to the classroom.
In a non-traditional sense, class field trips to SPI can create an exciting learning environment as well. Rocket launches, bench top experiments, and other activities engage the students and bring text book knowledge into hands on applications. It's one thing to read about space travel, but to experience a simulator that gives a feel of the vacuum of space is a whole other story.
Call us and find out how your next class trip can impact your students in a way that only space and science can.
